Pattex 1x Silicone sealant 280 ml water resistant

Pattex Acrylic Bath & Shower Sanitary Silicone is an acid-curing silicone sealant. Suitable for a durable and watertight sealing of the joints between bath or shower and tiles or between sink, toilet or bidet and wall or floor, or between shower wall and floor or wall. Pattex Acrylic Bath & Shower Sanitary Silicone can be applied without a primer.

- Temperature resistance: - 40°C to + 180°C
- Forming time: approx. 15 min
- Curing time: approx. 2 days. with a layer thickness of 5mm (23°C and 50% rel. humidity)
- Total permissible deformation: 25%
- Range triangular joint of 6x6mm: 280ml = 15m joint

Manual:

1. Remove the old joint sealant with the Pattex Silicone Remover and remove the last remains of joint sealant with the spatula side of the Pattex Silicone Remover. The edges must be clean, dry and free of grease.

2. Apply masking tape to both sides along the joint edges to prevent overflow. Then choose the sealant depending on the material.

3. Cut open the tube, screw the nozzle onto the tube and cut the nozzle to the desired width with the Pattex joint sealant smoother.

4. Place the cartridge in the Pattex Joint Kit Gun. Press the handle evenly and apply the sealant evenly.

5. Apply the joint between the masking tapes, push forward to fill joint edges and ensure it is watertight.

6. Smooth the joint with the Pattex joint sealant within 5 minutes. Immediately remove excess sealant with the Pattex Silicone Remover or use your fingers with soapy water (depending on the product).

7. Remove the tape before the sealant dries out. The sealant will be perfectly straight and smooth.
